MOTO WHEEL SIZE MIX FOR PRECISION, ROLLOVER AND COMFORT
Business in the front, party in the back! The bigger 29er front wheel lets you roll over obstacles with ease, whilst the lower profile casing gives you the precision to hit your marks. Out back the higher volume 27,5 inch wheel is great for finding traction and gives improved clearance compared to a 29er to move around when hanging off the back on descents.
STRONG, LIGHTWEIGHT AND AFFORDABLE FULL CARBON FRAME
Extended reach numbers across all frame sizes let you position yourself more aggressively and apply more weight to the front wheel. At 460 mm the chainstays have increased by 5 mm to offer slightly more stability and better climbing ability without sacrificing the legendary agility of its predecessor. Actually, thanks to improved anti-squat the bike now has improved peddling efficiency and is a dream for those with an active riding style.

A steeper seat tube angle puts you in a more forward position to tackle the climbs which the new and improved PW-X2 motor handles with ease. Talking of the motor, Yamaha have significantly improved the support of the motor at Higher cadences. A more natural ride feeling is complemented with Improved torque in all modes, less pedalling resistance and reduced weight to help you carry speed better down the trail, making it hard to keep the grin on your face from disappearing! We increased the battery capacity to 600 Wh meaning it will stay there longer too.
COMPLETELY UPDATED MODERN GEOMETRY
We wanted to make sure that every decision resulted in an improved experience on the trail. For example, we bumped up the rear travel to 160 mm and slackened the head tube angle to give you the confidence to tackle new lines in comfort and finally send that gap you have been eyeing up. And hey, if you overshoot, then thanks to our new and improved progressive rear suspension kinematic which ramps up at the end, you should be ok to just pedal back up and try again. If the call of YOLO is not echoing in your head then you can also just cruise comfortably down for a beer and stare at the smooth uninterrupted lines of the frame and plan your next ride.
